Now Hiring Extrusion Machine Operators in West Chester, OH!
Shift: 3rd, 12:00am-8:00am, Sunday-Thursday (5x8)
**Will train on 1st shift, 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, for 4-6 weeks**
Rate: $17.00-$21.00 (Based on Experience) ( $0.75 Shift Diff)
Essential Functions:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products.
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications.
- Monitor production process to ensure proper temperature, pressure, and speed.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or production process.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate a forklift (training done onsite)
- Supply the line with raw materials based on the production schedule.
- Responsible for safety, quality, and material usage.
- Product identification (print).
- Read and understand set up sheets and diagrams
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plastics extrusion or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with operating extrusion machines and related equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
